چکیده
Abstract In this contribution, we extend the principle of integer bootstrapping (IB) to a vectorial form (VIB). The mathematical definition class VIB-estimators is introduced together with their pull-in regions and other properties such as probability bounds success rate approximations. formulation allows sequential block-by-block processing ambiguities based on user-chosen partitioning. way, flexibility created, where for specific choices partitioning, tailored can be designed. This wide range possibilities discussed, supported by numerical simulations analytical examples. Further guidelines are provided, well possible extension classes estimators.

Theory of integer equivariant estimation with application to GNSS
Carrier phase ambiguity resolution is the key to high-precision global navigation satellite system (GNSS) positioning and navigation. It applies to a great variety of current and future models of GPS, modernized GPS and Galileo. The so-called ‘fixed’ baseline estimator is known to be superior to its ‘float’ counterpart in the sense that its probability of being close to the unknown but true bas...

متن کاملProbabilistic properties of GNSS integer ambiguity estimation
Successful integer estimation of carrier phase ambiguities of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) is the key to many high precision positioning applications. In order to describe the quality of the positioning results rigorously, one needs to know the probabilistic properties of both the integer and noninteger parameters in the GNSS model. In this contribution these probability distribut...

متن کاملInteger aperture bootstrapping: a new GNSS ambiguity estimator with controllable fail-rate
In this contribution, we introduce a new bootstrapbased method for Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) carrier-phase ambiguity resolution. Integer bootstrapping is known to be one of the simplest methods for integer ambiguity estimation with close-to-optimal performance. Its outcome is easy to compute due to the absence of an integer search, and its performance is close to optimal if the ...
